“Our Generation” Finals Performance Order Confirmed

Moscow inaugurated the “Our Generation” International Televised Competition. The event was held as part of the “Russia” International Exhibition & Forum at VDNH. The finalists were officially presented to the public. Then the order of the finals performances was formally decided. On November 18, Chinese finalist Yichun Wang will open the finale at the Moscow Concert Hall with the song “Hope in Motion.” The last to perform will be Mongolian finalist Nomuundar Ganzorig with the song “Dance.”

A press conference was held before the opening ceremony. Journalists got to learn more about the project and future plans. The competition’s general producer Stella Khachanyants noted that the competition has a bright future ahead: many countries are expected to continue cooperation with Russia on this initiative next year. Marat Zakirov, the deputy chairman of the “First Movement” spoke of the importance to organize such projects and said that “the competition with such a wide-ranging geography is sure to forge friendships between participants and countries.”

The special guest of the opening ceremony singer, musician, and showman Vyacheslav Makarov performed the song “Happiness is Here” with the Igor Krutoy Academy Choir. Young Russian singer Tanya Mezhentseva sang “I Got Love.” The event was hosted by TV presenter and blogger Artem Shalimov and TV presenter Nastya Knyazeva. The opening ceremony concluded with a rendition of the “Our Generation” official anthem.
