The names of the star presenters of the International Television contest of children's author's song "Our Generation" have been announced

The final of the International Television Children's Author's Song Contest "Our Generation" with the participation of children and teenagers from 15 countries of the world will be held in Kazan on November 16. A large-scale stage with professional sound and modern equipment will be erected on the site of the Tennis Academy. Alexey Vorobyov and Regina Todorenko will lead the ceremony. Together with the stars, young presenters Ekaterina Deeva and Margot Shvedova will also take the stage. Both girls have extensive experience in conducting such events, as well as successfully performing with their songs and acting in films.

Alexey Vorobyov, actor, musician, composer and director:

— I admit, I am very happy and looking forward to hosting such a large-scale international competition. Children from 15 countries will take the stage. And we may hear the music of many of them for the first time, for example, in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Ethiopia… It will be incredibly interesting for me to get to know their musical culture. I am sure that all of us: the presenters, the audience in the hall, and the viewers at their screens will enjoy the grandiose performance, for which the children have been preparing for several months. And, of course, I wish good luck to the participants!

Last weekend, children and teenagers from all over the world came to Kazan to take part in the competition with their original songs and make strong friendships. Especially for them, the organizers of the competition have prepared an educational and informative program: master classes from professionals, creative meetings, excursions, as well as various events aimed at getting to know the musical culture of other countries better.

The competition is attended by talented children and teenagers aged 9 to 16 years old. A prerequisite is a live performance of a new composition by the author of the participant, or he must take an active part in its creation. In 2024, children and teenagers from 15 countries of the world are taking part in the "Our Generation" competition. In addition to the Russian Federation, these are the People's Republic of China, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Madagascar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mongolia, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of India, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Federal Democratic Republic Ethiopia. Russia will be represented at the international competition by the folk group "Blackberry" with the song "Bread Braids".

Who will win the competition will be decided by a professional jury. Also, anyone can vote for their favorite song by audience voting on the official website of the project. If the opinions of the professional and national juries do not coincide, then two winners will be announced as a result, as it was last year.

Due to numerous requests from fans, the broadcast of the final of the International Television Children's Author's Song Contest "Our Generation", which will be held on November 16 in Kazan, was postponed to 21:20 Moscow time. This decision was made so that as many viewers of our large country as possible could see the performances of participants from 15 countries and find out the name of the winner or winners on the air of the federal channel NTV.
